ABOUT US
MtG is written and drawn by a team of two artists. @mouiface is the lead artist and author of the series. @Kiarou is the screenwriter and secondary artist for the series. Both of us work full time jobs as an Architect and an Engineer- two fields of study that have really inspired and informed how we express our art. While our time to work on this Manga has been limited, it has been a true passion project for us.MtG, along with its cast of characters, is a story that was first conceptualized many years ago. But Manga making is no small task. In order to do this in a way that we felt was right, we’ve spent a lot of time in development. A lot of the pages you will be seeing were actually drawn months or even years ago. That means we should have a large pipeline of pages ready and a consistent release schedule lined up.We want to thank everyone who reads this story. Your support means a lot to us.
"That day, you asked me about my wishes but I didn't have any. The truth is, I never believed in them. Not really. But I've always had dreams."
Klaude is a young baseborn citizen working as a scribe for Gevurah’s most prestigious academy: The Lisieux Basilica. Having been abandoned and orphaned as an infant, Klaude was raised by the Sisters and caregivers in the halls of this Basilica. Despite his incredibly young age, he was allowed to become a scribe due to his talent in reading and writing. For his whole life, strange dreams have constantly pervaded Klaude’s sleeping hours. In these dreams, he always finds himself alone in the middle of a cold, obsidian sea. When he was a child, these visions were quite terrifying, but as he aged past childhood, those murky waters just became an accepted part of his life.Klaude is a quiet and introverted young man. Since he spent most of his time deep in books, manuscripts and scrolls- he never had a chance to form any real friendships. While he loves and cherishes those who raised him, he has a hard time staying in touch with them and reaching out when he needs help.
"White lilies are tears from heaven. But heaven is a happy place, that's why they bloom here, instead."
Sister Clara is a cleric in the service of the Lisieux Basilica. She is much beloved and adored by the many orphans who run about the youth halls of the Lisieux Basilica. However, her career as a caregiver was not a straightforward one. As a child, Clara had an exceptional love for books and the stories in them. Being a Gevurite of common birth, her future was decided by the Gevurah Administrators. These Administrators instantly recognized this passion and appointed her a future as a library curator. However, Clara quickly discovered a different calling: that of child care.It is a rare occurrence for any Gevurite, much less a baseborn, to go against an Administrator’s dictate, but Clara is nothing if not headstrong. And with some help from one of her mentors, Father Paul, she managed to switch careers and join the clergy at the Lisieux Orphanage. As a caregiver, Sister Clara brings with her that same love for stories that she had in her youth. This infectious love is easily spread to all of the children in her care. It’s no wonder then that Sister Clara is the most popular of all the clerics when it comes to story time!
"We care for you dearly. We hope you have come to feel the same."
Father Paul is the Bishop of the Lisieux Basilica. Being in this prominent position, Father Paul reports directly to the Lisieux Elders in the Senate of Gevurah. His daily duties are to ensure the good shepherding of the Lisieux Basilica- from daily lecterns to the management of the academy and orphanage clerical staff.Father Paul was born in the eastern Gevurite provinces, in the magnificent city of Kleimence. Like most Kleimetians, his education began early in life. He was quickly recognized for his oratory ability and great virtue in practicing The Chronicles. He was eventually invited into Gevurah as a cleric. Cleric Paul rapidly moved his way up through the many Houses in the Lisieux District until he was eventually donated the title of Father.Being of a kind and jovial nature, Father Paul is adored by children and adults alike. He is very involved in the day-to-day workings of the Lisieux Orphanage- a stark contrast to his predecessors, which only adds to the confidence that the Elders place in him. His hands-on approach throughout the Basilica has given him the reputation of being the “Jolly Shepherd” for all who enter these halls.

"There are two ways to be fooled. To believe what isn’t true or to refuse what is."
Senator Aurelian is the representative of the Lisieux District. Hailing from a noble family and dedicating his early years to the Legions of his district, he quickly rose through the ranks for his judicious display of Gevurite laws and values. Proving himself a capable commander and heralded as a hero during the Heiaur Campaigns- his rising star put all other rivals in the shade.By the end of his military career, Aurelian was nominated for the rank of Senator and easily secured the favor of the elders. Aurelian’s tenue as Senator has seen many military victories, a full treasury and sweeping law enforcement reformation.

“Unlike you stuffy dolts- I’ve learned to have a little fun in life!”
Satcha of Calushire, born to a family of crab trappers from a small village named Calushire, off the Gevurah-held Acaron peninsula. The youngest of five siblings, Satcha was relieved of many responsibilities that his siblings were tied to, a quality reflected in his careless and almost delinquent demeanor. Despite this, he always performed his duties to his family, spending most of his youth off the coast setting and collecting crab traps to help his family meet the demands of both his village and the regional administrators. But Satcha was always determined to take a different path than his parents and siblings- at some point he grew tired of it all and set his sights for adventure beyond his tiny village. So when Gevurah recruiters for the Lisieux Legions came through his village one day, Satcha and his childhood friend, Kiev, jumped at the chance to sign up. The two solidly passed the fitness tests and with the promise of entry into the gated city at the end of their careers, the two were off to that distant city they would only dream about in their youths.
“Relax, them bluebloods are all like that. Don't be fooled by the stick up his arse. He's just like us. Nothin' special.”
Kiev of Calushire, born as the only child to a family of radish farmers from a small village named Calushire, off the Gevurah-held Acaron peninsula. Starting from a young age Kiev’s path was set to take over the family farm. But nothing about Kiev’s temperament lended himself to be a toiler of the fields.Laidback, forgetful and rambunctious, Kiev could hardly be considered a helping hand on the farm. Growing bored with the lifestyle and a larger and larger gap forming between him and his father, Kiev decided it was time for him to leave the family business. So when Gevurah recruiters for the Lisieux Legions came through his village one day, Kiev and his childhood friend, Satcha, jumped at the chance to sign up. The two solidly passed the fitness tests and with the promise of entry into the gated city at the end of their careers, the two were off to that distant city they would only dream about in their youths.

Elliot is a young recruit for the Lisieux Legion. Excitable and extremely sociable (some might say overly so), his chattiness is matched only by his clumsiness. Despite Elliot’s reputation as a chatterbox, he rarely talks about his hometown or his family. Like the majority of the Legionaries, Elliot hails from the nearby villages in the Gevurah-held provinces. Even though Elliot is not a model soldier in his height, stature or demeanor, Dialec Cato recruited this fiery young man for his other qualities.Despite the young man’s inexperience, those qualities still shine brightly. Earnest, just and loyal, Elliot has a strong innate sense of these founding Gevurite virtues. But even virtues can be overdone and Elliot’s penchant for stepping out of line to stop the wrongdoing of others is often what gets him in the most trouble.
Elliot picked up this bronze decorative sword in an act of desperation. Being the sword of Myk’el that was attached to the Lisieux Altar statue, it is by no means a functional blade. Even though it is a blade forged for decorative purposes, Elliot decided to keep it, taking a liking to the blade. Despite its worn down appearance, it has significant meaning to him now.
